RESEARCH INTERESTS

Microbiology, Immunology, Immunotherapy, Vaccine development.

These include those interested in viral, and bacterial pathogens that cause acute and persistent infections of humans and model organisms. Humans are hosts to many causative agents that directly influence our physiology. These pathogens direct the development of our immune system and resistance to infection. Therefore, vaccines or immunotherapy can protect people and communities against infectious diseases.
